2026 School on Analytical Connectionism
A 2-week summer course hosted at Chalmers University of Technology on analytical approaches to language acquisition and higher-level cognition.
View details ↗A school & workshop series centring on analytical approaches to connectionism: neural network models of perception, memory, decision-making, language, and cognitive control.
Connectionism, a key theoretical approach in psychology, uses neural network models to simulate perception, memory, decision-making, language and cognitive control. For all its successes, theoretical understanding lags behind empirical practice. This series brings together graduate students, postdocs and senior researchers to close the gap, through intensive summer schools, focused workshops, and peer-reviewed lecture notes.
